It is the one you listed from summit. When the crate engine arrives it is not on there. I will order the new adapter and give that a try. Thanks Jeff

Thanks, It is just the adapter. I bought the crate engine and dropped it in an Old Jeep. The engine is setup just like a 2 wheel drive GMT 400.

    Goodwrench engine price variations

I bought mine from Jeggs. They all should be GM performance so I can only think that some charge more than others. Hope that helps. Jeff

    Oil filter adapter problems

Hi all, I have a GM crate 5.7l TBI engine that I installed in another vehicle complete with TBI and serp setup from a 93 GMT 400. I have had two oil filters leak at the seal one being a wix and the other is a K&N. The wix blew the O-ring and made an awful mess. The K&N is just wet at the...

    The Resurrection of Old Blue

Thanks! I wanted wheels that looked good but not too flashy. I'm gonna try to get more pics when the weather clears here. That size tires with that size wheel works well. I'm not happy with the fit of the LMC "Premium" front bumper and if I can't get it to level out I may just go all GM on the...

    The Resurrection of Old Blue

Hi all I have posted on the forum before about my old truck. I wanted to post it up here to show our progress. I have a 1993 ECSB Z71 that I bought in March of 1995. I took my wife on our honeymoon and brought two of my 3 children home from the hospital when they were born. I installed a...

    LED headlights for W/T front

I work as a national tech for a company that builds garbage trucks and concrete mixers. I have several customers that are using that light in a round version for both safety reasons and longer life. Jeff

Another faulty Brake light issue with no found solution!

I think he is talking about the boards that are on the lights themselves. When you remove the light test where the bulb actually plugs in. You should then be able to test at the connector that plugs into the light board. If you have signal at the connector and not the bulb the board is bad...

Aux. input for 88-94 factory head unit

I bought the setup that 4thesporty had and it works really well. It kills the equalizer and the cassette, but sounds really good with my iPhone and my sons android phone. We are going to run it that way. The radio still works fine. We are looking for the cassette delete panel to install in the...

Aux. input for 88-94 factory head unit

I found this schematic (Thanks if someone here posted it) I can't remember where I found it. I just need to take my Fluke and see what the mute and tape on wires do when a tape is placed in the deck. It may take a couple of weeks I will be traveling for work. Jeff
