    246GM

    I have seen a ton of these going bad in the 246 transfer cases. If you're transfer case will not shift into 4wd or you think the motor is bad most likely its this $20 part. It goes inside the transfer case motor. I have never seen a motor go bad and it not me this module.

    I was on the GM website today renewing our re flashing subscription, and saw that you can download the tech 2 program for $55.00 for 3 days. It makes your laptop have all the info and capabilities as a tech 2. Has anyone tried this? That's cheaper than a lot of shops charge for diagnostic fees...

    5 Pinion Planets..

    Difference between a 5 pinion rear planet and 4 pinion. The 5 pinion is definitely an upgrade, but we have had several have a small whine when installed.
