    My truck won't shift out of 1st but it only happens in 4lo, 4hi 2hi are fine. Is there a switch somewhere for when you shift into 4wd to tell the computer it's in 4lo?

    1500 diesel burbs have 8 lugs, the front diff is the 9.25in like all 8 lug trucks, the rear is the 9.5in semi floater used in most 3/4 ton gas trucks, 2500 burbs got the 10.5 14bff.

    I doubt it. The truck is a hack wagon plain and simple. Once he posts his steering it will be even clearer. I never said half shaft, read it again.

    I unbolt the box and let it hang a little and use a snap on puller.

    No kit fix for it. Hit the bone yard and cut a section off and weld it back together or swap out the whole frame.

    I just unbolt the box from the frame and rotate it enough to get my puller on. I have a snap on puller that doesn't take up much room.

    I run 4in springs with 37's. I did rub the front bumper corners though.

    6" lift with extended cab... a warning for you

    My truck did the same thing. I just ground out the rivets and moved it forward a little bit so it clears.
