Thanks man! Well I have some new updated photos from Carlisle All-Truck Nationals in PA first part of this month. I made the journey from MO to PA and back, 1800 miles, 6 days, 17 MPG average. Props to Matt Hayes (on FSC) for the rolling shots and Gregg (BHB) for the rig to take them from...

Going from a box to a flat bed - TIPS?

The for sure way is to measure the CA (cab to axle) measurement of your truck and the truck the bed is coming off of.

Going from a box to a flat bed - TIPS?

That would be a good route to go and re-do it. A plain Jane bed with a wood floor brand new painted with a bulkhead would be like 3500 from us.

Going from a box to a flat bed - TIPS?

No kits that I know of, I work for a manufacturer here in the states that does custom truck beds. You can have it built however you want, but you don't want to put more than an 8-9" bed on it due the cab to axle distance, to long of a bed and you will have safety issues when loaded. We use...

    95+ blend door actuator help

Did replacing the mode actuator fix this? or the HVAC controller? I am having an issue where the A/C is ice cold when on defrost, but when on feet or vent (with A/C on) it is warm and you can see the actuator go back to mixed blend or if the A/C is off and temp still cold it goes back to mixed...

Distributor recommendation for 89 tbi 350

Corrosion could be from a cracked cap and getting moisture in or the loose stripped bolt letting it in, the ignition module could be corroded too. no truth to having to do it at 100K, many go double that our more. Most common is a worn gear and then there is a play and you get an intermittent...

Can I use an '86 350 tpi motor in my truck?

Only other question I would raise would be water pump rotation on the TPI are those different from the TBI engines? If so cooling will be an issue.

Thank you man! It is great to DD, I have a few more squeaks, rattles, small things to really make it better, but that is for warmer weather. I honestly love the TBI, way easier to work on, cheaper, and with my mods its not as slouchy as most would assume. MPG wise it is good too, all hwy is...
