97 vortec, 305 to 350 swap?
a buddy of mine has a 97 sierra ecsb with a 305 vortec in it, he wants to swap the motor for a 350 vortec, just wonderng what all is needed? is it a direct bolt up or does he have to do a computer swap etc.- gmcz71

does a 96 sierra sle come with daytime running lights? ive never had them on my 96, just on and off with the knob, but suddenly today i have them, while the key is on i can turn the lights off and everylight but the headlights turn off, and when i turn off my key they go off, then come on as...- gmcz71

courtesy/dome light flickering while driving
not sure whats causing it, im guessing a short somewhere, but my courtesy and dome lights in my 96' flicker on and off after driving for a couple minutes, and it makes a clicking noise while its doing it, and on one drunken night a buddy of mine noticed that when you punch next to my slide out...- gmcz71

6 inch superlift crossover, 95 4 dr yukon to 96 scsb?
a buddy of mine has a (95?) yukon 4 door that hes parting out with a 6 inch super lift suspension lift, i was wondering if it would cross over to my 96 swb? i know a used lift isnt an approved method, but its cheap, just wondering if it would fit or if its not worth the time...- gmcz71

minor scratch removal?
after buying my truck used, i expected a few scratches here and there.....turns out the previous owner had a dog, and lived next to a paint yard, to theres overspray, and tons of minor scratches in the clear coat, i got the overspray off, anyone know what i can do about all the minor scratches?- gmcz71

double din radio in 96 gmc 1500 z71
i bought a 96 z71 last week, im starting to put the stuff i want in it, the radio it has now is a jensen tape deck/cd player, its bigger than a single din, but im not sure if its a double din, im kinda new to the whole audio scene, so what i was wondering is, do they make a double din dash kit...- gmcz71
