97 vortec, 305 to 350 swap?

a buddy of mine has a 97 sierra ecsb with a 305 vortec in it, he wants to swap the motor for a 350 vortec, just wonderng what all is needed? is it a direct bolt up or does he have to do a computer swap etc.

Definitely the computer. Make sure that the transmission, engine, and year combo is exactly the same though.
