Damn!!! Its actually sinking into the ground. Looking forward to seeing you bring it back. No leaks around the windshield cowl at all?
Lol yes the bottom lugs on the wheels are pretty much level with the ground, I anxious to bring her back to, the early 88's and 89's are getting very scarce around here. The cab is a little musty inside and mildew and moss all over, I think the seal for the door leaks a little. But the windshield cowl seems okay.

i like it. what a job but should be worth it.
Thanks! Yeah its definately worth fixing. Its pretty straight and not all stove up, just a good cleaning and a little body work. Pretty anxious to hear the old 350 roar to life after so long.

I always love resurrection rebuilds! That truck will look good with all the years of grime washed off!

Wow, glad you are saving that truck! The '88 and '89's (don't forget about those odd '95's ;) ) are kind of unique in my opinion.

Gotta love that Fastback on there!!! I hope you don't take it off, looks good on it! Have the same exact Fastback as that truck's, except mine is Ford Fastback and has third brake light, all I did was cut it and re-fiberglassed it and now fits the truck.

Also, those rims on the truck look brand fricken new! Wow, better save those! :D

So this truck was fully optioned? My gawd! Keyless entry?!? Wish my truck had that! :)

Thats what i was thinkin. The paint is in pretty good shape, im sure it will shine again with a good pressure wash, the pitch and moss will be fun to get off lol.

Thanks 98chevy! Oh dont worry the fastback is staying! Yeah the wheels are one of the reasons i got excited. They are super rare, gm called them "premium deluxe" back then. Ive only seen one other truck in person with them, but they were on a newer '96. The keyless entry i believe was a dealer installed option (i think). According to my '88 sales brochure and accessories book.
