Understood with the rattle cans. Btdt.
I did a whole car with duplicolor gloss black. cut and buffed looked like lacquer. looked awsome for about 3 years.
Then it failed.
When I went to do it right I had to strip it to metal ...pita.

I get it. If this thing ever gets a good bc/cc paint job I've had great luck with a good sealer laid down over rattle can. One of my paint jobs is holding up 12 years later.

I lik d the colors also. But if you look at the driver front door the paint was in bad shape. Plus me putting new rear fenders on, they came black so they wouldn't have matched

Looks good. No disrespect.
I'm looking for a good flat paint myself.
I usually paint flat with ppg.
Dp90 or jp277
Tried hotrod flats hated the smell and couldn't keep it from tiger striping.

Back in the day my wife and I painted this 89. We used PPG "shop line" that started out as a gloss but we had them dull it down to a satin. We had a couple of spots that looked a bit off but we rubbed the whole thing gently with newspaper and it evened right out. It turned out pretty good considering the it was painted outside, on gravel, 38 degrees in the fog... My sweetie had never painted a thing (not even rattle can) and she did the final pass. Other than being way too close on the mirror and tailgate she did really well.

Dont mind the under carriage, after all it used to be a old farm truck

Put my exhaust on, just a simple chambered thrush.
