Thank you! I knew someone would know the size. Might have to find some adapters.

Anyone have input on exhaust setups? Right now I'm thinking about a dual inlet, single outlet muffler. Would 3.5" outlet be ok?

I've got a magnaflow XL right now - usually a single in dual out setup, but magnaflows are reversible. Mine is dual in single out right now. Sounds great and runs well. If you just use the stock pipes you can use welds to fill the gap and step the muffler down to the 2.75" stock tubes.

I thought about it more last night. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do a pair of 2 chamber mufflers, (like the flowmaster 40 series) 3" in and out and do 2 3" tailpipes out the stock location.

Should I go with an X pipe pre muffler or will it be ok without one? Any benefits either way?

Well i got the manifold leak fixed. Turns out it was cracked and had to be replaced along with the egr. Truck runs great now and much quieter in the cab.

Hauled a big load with the truck the other day. About 5 tons off crusher run in a dump trailer. Truck did great. I was very impressed.

Made a decision on an exhaust upgrade. Not sure if I'll run it long or if it will even be adequate. I went ahead and ordered a 3" in and out "Y" pipe to connect the existing dual 2.75" pipes along with a pair of adapters. Already have a mandrel bent 3" tail pipe. Not gonna run a muffler for now. Just a two into one exhaust.

Opinions welcome. Thanks
