I do all the time. The way their eyes drift off when I’m explaining to them how automotive system work and how to diag them. I can literally read their thoughts and they are like yeah right this guy feeding some bs and trying to rip me off. It hurts I can’t say that it doesn’t. The college degree, the dedication, the absolute quest for knowledge that I have spend half my lifetime knowing just seems like a waste at this point"It's the same stuff, innit?"
There's a certain point where you look at the customer and say, "If you don't trust me, then you can take it elsewhere." The other side of this is that you have to be trustworthy. Integrity first.
