Yeah, they tow really well. I have a few things done to mine. I have no cats, flowmasters, ls1 injectors, but no tune yet. I have been too lazy to get it done.
I could see myself replacing the 7.4 with a 6.0 when it dies, the main reason being the cost involved with rebuilding the big block vs. picking up a good used complete 6.0 and having all the newest technology.
My 98 ECSB 4x4 with a 7.4 got 10mpg in stock trim with a 80/20 town/road driving. I pulled off the cats, put on a flowmaster, and added a K&N and this tank is on par for 13mpg. I can live with that, I pulled a trailer with a vehicle on it today and it was like it wasn't even there. I think...
Ok, I hope I explain this all right. I have a 98 2500 with a 7.4 and I think that it is losing prime between starts. I can turn the key over and hear the fuel pump and the first time I hit the key it seems like 1 or 2 cylinders hit and then nothing. It normally takes 3 or 4 more times of...
Well, I just had the cat's cut off and a dual in dual out 40 series Flowmaster and turndowns put on. It sounds really good with the big block. I also put in a K&N air filter today. Hoping to hit the 12mpg mark now.
My sliding back glass seems to have alot of space between the sliding part and where it overlaps the back glass. Is there supposed to be a seal of somekind there, and if there is where can I find one.
Well I found a set of PYO's with center caps for $250 today so they are down at the tire shop getting a new set of Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S 10plys put on, they are going to mount them on my truck after work, I will take an updated pic when I get home.
It rained pretty hard here this weekend and...
Ok, right now it is dual 3" all the way out to gay rusty tips poking out the back right now. I think I am just going to Y it and run a 40 series or super44 Flowmaster and take out a single 3" pipe near the factory location.
