It's not hard at all. I just replaced mine. The hardest part is dealing with the cramped quarters. Umm... more like I did mine without removing the fan cuz I was lazy. Certainly, OEM is better quality - no argument there. But for the price, these aftermarket ones can't be beat nor can you complain all that much really. I had no such problems with my LMC bumpers.
