98 GMC Sierra Fuel Pump Replacement

I would remove the bed if you have someone to help pick it up. You can also separate the housing on the 98 up and replace just the pump and it would be much cheaper.

That is a good point,I will have to check and see,but the switches have lights in them.That would be even better at night.

Hi Guys,I finally got my Blazer/Jimmy door switches installed.I have been wanting to do this to an 88-94 for a longtime. I think it looks cool in a truck and I also put power mirrors on and wired them up also.

I am pretty sure his 94 is turning about 2300 rpm's at 60 and that is with 235/85/16's Check your rpo code in your glove box the code will start with a G

My dads 94 dually has 4.56 gears and 235/85/16's factory and his turns up pretty high at 60MPH

98 silverado 4l60 to th350 need help

That's pretty cool,but what about the PCM do you just connect the PRNDL switch and leave it in park or flash the PCM with a manual program?

NV3500/10 bolt gear whine.

The cross pin bolt can be drilled and extracted by using a screw extractor,but unless you are very good at drilling and extracting I would just use a hammer and a big punch to drive the cross pin through the differential case and the you can remove the rest of the bolt hopefully with a pick/awl...

NV3500/10 bolt gear whine.

I would check the pinion yoke and see if there is any play,as for the cross pin bolt I have used a punch to break the rest of the bolt. Is there any reason why the whine started?

3rd and 4th gear

Sounds like the 3-4 clutch pack is toast.I have had this happen to me a couple of times on 4l60's and 4l60e's. Looks like it's time to rebuild or replace;if you replace you will need to find out if you have a 4l60 or 4l60e.You should have a 4l60e being a 93 model.
