I have a stock 95 Cheyenne k2500. 14 bolt, 6 lug, GT4 rear. This is a one-legger, right? What about the front diff? Is that a locker? Feels like it when it's engaged and Ive got the rudder cranked to one side. Lol.

Any info on what type of diffs I have would be appreciated.

Might have the g80 Factory locker. Check the rpo code sticker in the glove box. Look for g80. If its not there you have an open diff.

All of the front diffs are open

Ok. If the front diffs are all open, why do I get tire scrub when engaged?

Also, assuming I have an open rear diff - what options are there for LSD's in these 14 bolt / 9.5" diffs?

My concern is while in 2wd and pulling out into faster moving traffic in a low traction situation (such as rain). Right now if I were to accelerate into traffic while turning onto a road, my inside tire gets zero torque. This makes the outside tire spin and I go nowhere. Causing traffic I pulled out in front of to slow or have to stop. This is stupid. I have a FWD car with open diff that doesn't do this. Anyway, an LSD would prob work better off road too since I do hit some steep angles on occasion when trying to reach a camp site.

Hit me with your wisdom. Thx

Honestly I know nothing about tire scrub.

Sounds like the rear diff is open. I would get a Detroit locker for it. You'll be able to put the power to the ground than

Wheel scrub happens when both wheels are rotating at the same speed in a turn. The outside tire needs to cover a greater distance than the inside so the only place there's any "give" is at the point of contact with the road. If I have my steering input at lock, the truck feels like it's got a lot of resistance and sometimes I'll hear my front tires scrubbing pavement. Maybe this is just the nature of these 4wd systems, being somewhat primitive, and they just won't behave like a typical AWD set up. My actuators are working fine btw.
