well....i got my "dream" lamp for the Dyna....a Cibie Z-beam......now i have 4 lamps to test on the bike. i really want the 7" standard e-code to test too, we'll see how that goes.

1) stock Harley clear lens H4
2) Harley Davidson Dual Halogen with H11 low and H9 high
3) Bosch German motorcycle H4
4) Cibie Z-beam H4

i have stock and high performance bulbs to test each one with.......need the harness. i'm in "talks" with gmachinz for a harness for this bike......i need to get info for him, but it won't be till Tuesday.......i know i said i'm riding this bike April 23rd....and i want some great lights for that day.

Headlights are not fashion statements people..... look at the atrocious beam shot and compare it to the Cibie Z beam.

Compare those to the Cibie Z beam lux measurements, for lux, especially the left side of the road....

the Z's are like holding a wonderful umbrella of light out where the light needs to be.........THAT is a gorgeous beam pattern.

not to mention the IPF name is supposed to be a respected name in the lighting community.....PASS.

all these "new" LED things hurt my eyes even from the pictures....i've ridden bikes with them....not for me....i didn't mind following my friend that had them, i trusted that he saw the road well and he says he can deal with the little hot spots all over the place....thanks but no thanks.....i'm a dinosaur and i like it that way

those JW Speaker fogs do work very well for fog lights no doubt, i just can't get with the 6K color of them.....or the "space invader" look to em.

should i start a new thread in "other builds" for the Harley lighting......or just keep it going on this thread?

i was driving tonight in the dark and saw a handful of mis-aimed, wrong bulb, wrong housing, blind every driver out there moron drivers. need to get my relay harness installed, soon.

funny how we really notice these things now and actually know why this crap happens........and we know how to make a good system too.
