i didn't get picture of what i did......but this little map-gas torch, a 6' extra heavy duty pry/digging bar and a few strategically placed sockets got this bent back to acceptable......very acceptable actually. simple fulcrum, great tool.

after i took a few measurements from the radiator support i kept working it until the bottom of the frame box was where it needed to be....it was 5/16" bent upward......the Warn frame brackets only exasperated the difference......that little torch surprised me....i didn't feel like bringing the truck to a friends house after he got home from work. he has a real oxy/acet setup.....make for better heat though.

the "known" good passenger side.....i measured down from the hood.

then i bolted on the driverside setup and took a measurement.....i call it good.

it was hard keeping the busted tape in place and taking a picture too.....
pass side was 22" to the front upper corner of the carriage bolt hole.....drive side was 22" heavy..........:anitoof:

gonna hook up the KC harness tomorrow and aim the fog lights.....it's so much easier to adjust them with the grill and apron off.....then she should go back to gether with the Cibie's on.....i can't wait to see how they're gonna work. bet i could aim them well on a lit nyc street.

i concur! there IS good and great information in here.......my build thread on the shovelhead forum went 356 pages.

i'm gonna keep this going as it's become a diary of sorts for everything pertaining to my lighting and all the good information and experiences from everyone that has shared.

truth be told, i think we did a good job on the final HEADLIGHT SYSTEM thus far......

I started out with Page 1 earlier today, right now I am at page 50 and the little ticker or what ever it's called says there is currently 94 pages.

Anyway I wish I would have known about this forum when I got my Red 1998 GMC K1500 Sierra SLE Extended Cab 2D on June 30 2011 for $3900. I'll bet since then I have put at least that much into it, from needed repairs, to I want that item in my truck stuff, but when all is said and done, no monthly payment now, I like that. Would I like a brand new one? Of coarse but then I would be concerned where I parked so some idiot that isn't paying attention would throw there door open and ding it, at least this way if they park closer than I like, I might share some of my 'VICTORY RED' paint with them.

And yes there seem to be a lot of useful information in here, and this is just one thread, I doubt I would live long enough to read 'it all'.
