Mine are from TorchStar, $70 shipped. They have a site with some offerings but their ebay store has more, including the ones I bought. Two features I really like are, no separate power supply like those V-LED's have, and no fans like the SuperBrights have. The fans always seemed like such an obvious point of failure. Replaced too many on computers throughout my former life as an I.T. dork, fans are always going bad, especially those little ones. And that's in an indoors environment, not the temperature, moisture, and dust extremes of automotive use.

Edit - nice to see the V-LED's style they are coming out with lets you change the depth of it in the housing so you can try for best pattern/output.

So pretty much plug and play?

Yeah again I'll say the results did not blow me away, but definitely far better pattern than the DDM HID's in the same housings. Not nearly as bright, but usable. Tough to say if they're better than stock halogens. Overall I'm happy with them, though I do wish they were a little brighter. These are the TorchStar 6000K 2400 lumen yada yada in TYC Elegante housings. Vary from that and I can't honestly say how they will perform.

Very cool, thanks for trying these out! Based on the results I'll probably continue to stick with my stock halogens, but it's nice to know there's an alternative to HIDs now. Never was a big HID fan.

I love the brightness of HID's but the pattern they make (or lack of, more appropriately) in reflector housings makes them pretty much useless to me, and a pain to other drivers. I wasn't going to get into LED's until some viable ones came out that didn't have little fans on the back of them. To me that's a dealbreaker for something I need to depend on.

Oh they're done. It already had Elegantes and HID's, just did the chop-chop so I could put the LED's in there. Didn't take pics as the truck is filthy and the weather hasn't really allowed for us to wash it; g/f drives it daily to work so it's gonna stay dirty at least a few more days.

Also on the black truck, replaced the little 921 incandescent reverse bulbs in the IPCW LED taillights with some tower/projector style LED's from Autolumination. For such small bulbs they're crazy bright. Not bad! I've got some for the Suburban as well but have to get the reverse lights working first. Some numbnutz hacked the connectors off the range switch at the transmission.
