What amp are you using for the Bose sub? How do you like it? I got a console with one, but already had a Pioneer shallow mount. Trying to decide if it's worth picking up an amp just for that sub.

Factory Escalade amp, with Bose speakers. I've got the complete system from an Escalade pulled and working. The sub itself isn't terribly impressive, but you can definitely tell it's there and overall audio quality is infinitely better than the factory premium sound. Well worth what I've got into it. Hopefully the 06 Escalade sub is plug and play with the 2000 Bose, so I can use that since it's already in my console.

80 they started half the year with round and the second half with square

Not quite. Upper trimed 80s are square headlight with unique parking lights, grill and trim. Lower trimmed kept the same round headlight and trim the 79s had, with the 80 grille. All 80s trucks had the same fenders as the previous 73-79 trucks, in 81 the fenders are sloped more.

Took a trip to the pick n pull today, grabbed the lock cylinder I needed to put the last top kick handle on, then looked around the back and found an unmolested Escalade that was put in earlier today. Since I'd only taken tools for the lock cylinder, all I took was the dash bezel, fog light switch, and tail lights that looked like new. On the way back up front I spotted a burnt up C3500HD. Handles were gone, but I'd never seen the gold HD badges so I decided to grab them as well.

I actually prefer the red emblems, which is what I've always seen on HDs.

These, I've never seen before though. I've also never seen the gold GMC2500 badges that came on my Suburban. And one on ebay is the only other place I've ever seen my gold GMC center caps.
With my badges and center caps, I figured maybe it was offered on two tone SLTs with the gold on the bottom. But the gold HD badges came off a solid red HD with a grey cloth interior.

And Dave, how did your truck end up down here? lol

Looking awesome! I'm digging the HD emblems.
Any other OBS Escalade parts you need? I'm digging the HD emblems. I'm at the junkyards here in Houston at least twice a month... Seems I always see 2-3 Denali's or Escalades.

Believe it or not I have a bridged 600w Kenwood on mine lol It's turned way down... I fully expected to blow it but I beat the hell out of it daily and it's still going strong. So impressed on how good it sounds I took my 10" sub completely out of my truck.

Actually I finally have about everything I need as far as OBS Escalade parts. The dash bezel was the last thing. Now it's just interior handles but I can get them new online cheap anytime.

Eventually I'll want an 02 Escalade dash board, but that'll be further down the road. The SAS has left a big enough dent in my wallet for the time being and I'm already looking for two more axles.

Edit: Just remembered I still need a console lid and rear cup holder for a 99/00 Escalade so I can get the console back together and sell it.
