Tinkering with a ‘97 GMC Yukon

Recently bought a 97 Yukon, it’s pretty basic. Very little rust relatively low miles (113k). Bells and whistles include: 350/4l60e/246, 10 bolt rear, 3.42 gears, power everything. So far I’ve tinted the windows, installed a cat back system with a single flow master, installed tow mirrors, put on new tires and wheels and the obligatory seat covers and floor mats. Future plans include: a mild lift, offroad seats front and rear, custom center console, bigger tires, bumpers, tire carrier and tool storage in the rear. I’ll probably come up with some other convoluted plans along the way, stay tuned!

Hammered Bronze. I just used rattle cans and clear coat. So far it’s holding up pretty good.

Yeah I think they came off of a ‘17 pickup. Thanks, I really wanted to do something different. I was pretty skeptical when I first painted them but once I got them on there I was definitely glad I went with the bronze.
