too bulky :imo:

some one needs to make one that stays close to OEM proportions and that matches the body style better. TAG is the best so far, but not quite perfect.

I agree, might sound weird saying this, but it's almost too big for me :wtf:

i think it would look so much better without the grill guard though

I like the first pic in the thread most.

It's more aussie "roo bumper" than the typical North American designs.

But then again, I like aussie style "roo bumpers":

They look like they would actually offer some protection instead of just "looking" tuff.

Aluminum too. Big bonus of aluminum is you can get more thickness for the same weight of steel (ie: more robust) or you can stay with the same thickness and save some weight.....

:puke: to anything besides TAG so far.

And about them being "tougher".... I'm actually surprised that Great White put that. They aren't any better than stock in reality- they can only be as strong as the frame. And aluminum is MUCH weaker then iron/steel.

So you can have a 500lb. steel bumper on there or a 250lb. aluminum on there, both might look completely BA, but in complete and utter reality if you get in a wreck it's going to still destroy your front end. All that's holding it on is the same bolts holding the stock one on and the relatively flimsy frame rails. So all these bumpers are about in PURE reality is something that:

1- won't crumple when you rub or hit something slow
2- look BA
3- hold a winch for function and to look BA

rant over, haha

Also, i had sent an email to Trailready (OP's bumper). They never responded, so they are off the list.

That is the one Hunter posted right above you. I just scrolled through the gallery till i found a 400 with one. I think it works pretty well with the curves and whatnot.

It sticks out past the headlights a little far IMO. Looks ok other than that. Did they have prices listed?
