You might see matching wheels in the future for sure. I want A/T or even M/T tires but they just aren't designed with the same strength as the ST trailer tires are. And they trailer tires have a harder compound that has less resistance, which is a plus seeing this sees tons of road use. More lift will probably not happen, it's already tall enough for this truck, I've already punctured the roof with branches before....

Just finished reading this thread too. I've spent about 2 hours and 15 minutes reading this and your 99's thread lol. I wouldn't have had the determination to do all this work to a trailer. One thing you could do is take the idea of these

and put a suspension under that thing. I think it would be an interesting project and make it more capable  Keep up the great work! And whose truck is the white GMC?

Thanks Scott. I've thought about running an air suspension I could raise and lower to help with handling and wind drag but give me capability. Unfortunately the trailer is only going to be a few more years of life in my hands. I'll be upgrading to bigger and better things.

The white truck is my friends 99 sierra. Nice truck, it received my old 14SF axle.

Are those slide in's safe for a SRW truck? I was thinking (if I ever win the lottery ) about getting a slide in camper and a trailer and some atv's. Not sure my truck would handle that but I could always get another truck.
