Thanks!

So i have been trying to fit in a few more hours in to my truck. Today i manage to order my new moog inner and outter tie rod ends. I also went for a ride to the wreckers and foung a chrome grille in amazing shape, no crack! Found some running lights and amber side markers that i will be painting black. Also found myself a windshield washer fluid resevoir from a 95-up to hide it under the baterie.

As for the grille, like most know, im not a big chrome fan, so thanks to a member on here, he gave me the idea of taking the chrome off, so when i looked for the grille, i found one that the chrome was bubling. With lots , and LOTS of patiences, i spent 2 hours or so peeling it off. Now thats its peeled, ill spend alittle time sanding down some sctrachs and the grille should be ready for paint!

Today i finish preping the frame, bolted in the notched and welded them in also. Pretty happy with the finishing results. Finished it off with some black glossy paint, looks like new again!

Looking good, lovin the restoration in a can on the frame
Its not spray can.. Its a chassis restauration paint. You brush it on, its pretty thick when it drys. It'll work for the funds of an 18 year old.. When I get a good paying job, maybe ill strip it and get it sandblasted and powdercoated. Itllk do for now.
