Wow Eric it looks great did u repaint and did you use the fishing line trick?

Thanks man, Didnt paint anything and I used a heat gun and pulled it off with my hands. Tried the fishing line when I demolded and it was a waste of time imo. I found it easier to just pull on the molding itself and go nice and slow. To each their own though.

WD-40 works great at removing tape residue if you don't have an eraser around.

I love it on my 91 I wanna get a nicer one but man are the hard to find.

I think the GMC ones are non-existent. You can get new Chevrolet ones from LMC for $300, but that is the only place I've ever found them, and I've looked. Its impossible to get one from another truck because they destruct during removal.

does any one have a picture of a tailgate with the trim removed? all the pics in this thread for some reason i cant see them.
