94 tailgate

On my 1994 Silverado I have been having an issue with the tailgate not staying closed. I will close the tailgate and the next time I look at it after driving it is ajar 1/2” or so. So then I open it and close the tailgate again and it happens again (after a drive of course) when this happens the tailgate won’t fall of drop, it is still engaged. It just seems to not be closed all the way. Any ideas???

Look at your latches and see if there frozen. That's my guess. I would open the tail and operate the handle to see if you see the side moving or not.

No problem, when in doubt grease the rods and latch assemblys lol
