Both of your trucks are looking good
Took me a minute to compute that comment, I don't think I got any of my other trucks in any of my pics.
But ya, @fancyTBI has it going on.

Oh wow a 1500 mega cab!! Those are pretty uncommon! Even when they were new but more so now.
Ya, I didn't even realize what it actually was when I bought it. I just wanted a BIG cab!!! Found out later really what's up.
For those who don't know, a 06-08 "1500" Megacab is entirely a 3/4 ton underneath. It's a 8 lug, solid front axle beast with a 1500 title. Not one single piece from a real 1500 fits underneath. Even getting the bullbar was a hassle, finally had to tell the kid it was a 3/4 because the frame is wider.
They did it apparently to skirt some laws south of the border. Higher insurance, inspections etc for 3/4 and up trucks. Kinda like the 1500HD Chevs.
They took a crew cab long box, put a short box on and filled the 20" gap with cab.
It's been pretty damn dependable over the years. Now she has been mostly relegated to dump runs, the occasional tow job with the 26' travel trailer. It's our spare vehicle that's come in useful so many times.
But it's most important job was bringing my two daughters home from the hospital the days they were born!
This one and the GM are NEVER leaving while I'm still breathing and alive!
Future plans, once the GM is "done" are a nice lift kit, wheels and tires and a paint refresh.

Ya, there are not many of these beauties rolling around anymore, not that there were many of the 1500's. This one has a rusting rear door in need of replacement, and it started at the rear fenders. Typical 3rd gen stuff. But I ground down to bare metal and put the flares on. One day.....one day, I'll fix it right.
