Back in the day, sucking a valve was more of an issue. The factory valves on our trucks would be considered performance valves in the '60s. The metallurgy now is far better. I haven't seen a sucked valve since I was in Vo-Tech thirty years ago, and that was a valve out of an old motor that was sitting on the shelf as a display. The old man is convinced I need a muffler or I’ll burn up my exhaust valves. Still a big believer in back pressure.
No news can be good news too.No update yet. They were supposed to get to it today. Hopefully tomorrow I can pick it up. Planning on going to the car wash for a quick spray down and then waiting until dark to adjust the headlights.
Especially if they are like the shop I occasionally use. 9 times of 10, its done and waiting for pickup but they haven't called unless you requested a call.No news can be good news too.
Are they doing the alignment too?No update yet. They were supposed to get to it today. Hopefully tomorrow I can pick it up. Planning on going to the car wash for a quick spray down and then waiting until dark to adjust the headlights.
