that is interesting to me when did one of ours not to long ago we went from a 100 or 105 do not know what one to a 140 or 145 did not have to change the belt do not know if it is because it is a 6.5 or what but stock belt works just fine did have to order a plug adapter though

Maybe on the 6.5 or 7.4 it's the same. But on the 5.7 Vortecs I know it is different.

I do know that the 6.5 and 454 are not the same as the 4.3 305 and 350 both tbi and vortec but I do not know if the diesel and the big block use the same brackets or not because the diesel also has a vacuum pump that runs the wastegate on the turbo I know on some aftermarket alternators the pulley size is different and then you do have to change belts maybe on the factory higher amperage alternators the pulley changed and some applications need a different belt
