rtv around coolant

my uncle ruined a good transmission using too much rtv and not letting it cure, slapped a whole tube on the pan and slapped it on.

Bet yea it would have to be very heavy unless they did the sides too.

Got the intake manifold put back on, followed the torque sequence. I'm going to put everything else back together Saturday. Thanks for the help everyone.

Thanks again everyone, got her running tonight! I performed a oil change, looked like some coolant mixed with oil. It runs much better now, idles great now.

Below is a pic of the old passenger side intake gasket, I never did find the missing piece.

nice, glad you got it going, that coolant may have just spilled in when you removed the intake, thats not abnormal, as long as you did an oil change you should be okay.
