Hello, I'm Ed from Toronto. In the past I've owned a 73 GMC 3/4T, 84 S10 Blazer V8 swap, 93 C1500 ext(new),96 K1500 ext(new) and a 89 Z71. Been truckless for the last 16 years. I'm looking to get into a 96 to 99K 1500 to last me the rest of my driving years - 20 years or more. I'll be moving out of the city soon and a truck is always nice to have to haul my 86 Monte Carlo SS or pick up lumber to fix up the house I may be buying. I'm a DIY'er when it comes to repairs. The new trucks scare me with the price and complexity and built in 'throw away after 10 years' technology. I like an honest, down to earth and simple to fix truck. I'll post my question in the forum.
