Thanks man. I've finally made up my mind.. going to pull the Vortec 350 out of the 97 and drop her in to here with all the old TBI stuff.
Essentially a vortec head swap to my understanding, but will be nice to have the motor out and get everything cleaned up in there!
The 14B SF, with open 3.73s will be going under her as well, i'll probably roll with the rebuilt 10b G80 I have until it goes, have time to throw a locker in the 14b.

I should be able to throw Z71 decals on it after and not feel bad, hah!

After the motor/rear end swap, she'll be seeing a 6" RCX and 35/12.50/16, might toss around the idea of going to a 15" rim.

Edit: Going to rebuild the Vortec 350 this spring/summer, throw a mild to moderate cam in there and see how she goes.

Plans for the 14b SF swap:

Mag-Hytec Diff Cover, added oil capacity, dip stick, cooling fins.

4:10s or 4:56s combined with 35s, may decide on 37s if I add a 3" BL as well.
Need some fuel economy for daily driving, but will see more trail use than road use eventually.
Any recommendations for gear suppliers?

I was talking to a tire shop. Telling them my BFG AT were wearing really fast. He said that the quality of those tires has really gone down. He sells them but recommends Cooper Toyo or Hankook they are equal or cheaper than BFG and he says a better tire. I ended up with Michellin LT M+S price was to good to turn down.

Thanks for the info man, I've been keeping an eye on the BFG A/Ts at work actually and yeah they do seem to wear quite fast. Hard use there though.
I'll have to do some more reading, I'm looking for a tire that will spend 70% of its time or so offroad.
