Whats up guys been surfing this site for about a month now. lots of useful info and tips. Figured i would join and help add info.
About me:
GM certified basic maintenance tech
Have worked on cars trucks and jeeps since i was 8 years old
Im 24 almost 25
I have a wife and a 2 year old
And ive always loved the obs gm trucks
And im always willing to meet up and talk about truck with others in the area
About my truck:
1996 white gmc K1500
211k miles
350 with auto trans
right now im running z71 wheels off an 04 with 265/70r17 dueler at rubber
wheels and tires were on it when i bought it.
its got a no name cross bed tool box
and factory bed rails
windows were tinted when i bought it.
Plans:
lift
over cab light bar
procomp front light bar
paint job
wheels
tires
exhaust
different tool box
chrome delete
molding delete
pin stripe delete
possibly tinting tails
window retint(starting to fade)
front and rear diff regear
trans rebuild
top end rebuild on engine with cam
possible chevy front end conversion
thats all i can come up with off the top of my head. i look forward to meeting other guys in the area possibly doing some trail riding, and will be posting pictures in a build thread here soon.
