Going to cut up and retro fit some 3 way 5x7 speakers for my rear tahoe doors. The front ones/ tweeters are fine 15 years later.
So is there a good way to cut the plastic door panels to fit these things and has anyone done it.

I was personally drilling out where the holes obviously need to go, bolt it to the panel and map out the opening. Then with a jig saw or coping saw cut it out?
any help would be great

Jig saw with the foot taped up so it doesn't mark the panel would be the way I'd do it.

Rear doors or the rear barn doors?

If rear doors, why? My 6.5" barely fit depth-wise.

Upgrade the front doors first, trust me man. The front is where you want to dump the most coin.
