4L80e with full manual capability from ckperformance. Reviews? good? POS?

ok guys,
what's the word on the street about a trans from ckperformance?? I thought I had decided to buy a 4l80e built by ckperformance with no auto capability, strictly manual operation, drive it like a standard without the clutch. This appealed to me because then no computer needed which is a huge bonus as I plan to 86 the tbi and its computer talking stuff here real quick. Then I thought Id better slow down and see what the feedback on this idea and company amounts to.

Its going in the 95 burb behind the big block I will build up a bit.

Any feedback and input, good , bad or indifferent would be appreciated. Please let me know if I am getting ready to make a dumb move, on any post. I hate IT WHEN I SEE THOSE TOO LATE!!!

In my opinion you limit yourself when you do that. Nobody can borrow it and it would be harder to sell.

That is what I am using in my 4L80E behind my Cummins and it works great... no laptop required.
