454 possible 400 hp?

They were rated at 290 HP from the factory, at the flywheel. Call it 270 at the flywheel, so ~215 at the rear wheels. Would be expensive to get to 400 at the flywheel, and really hard to get it to 400 RWHP.

It shouldn't be hard to get 400 at the crank. 400 at the wheels is different, that will be expensive. Were talking cam, heads, intake, pistons, new tune if going efi

If you want a fast vehicle, don't do a truck. They are heavy

Yes they make great sleepers, which is what I'm doing. But it's still a truck and have sub par braking
