Sounds like you have some sagging bars then

x2. You can bottom out the bolts, just make sure you don't crank to the droop stop, the bumpstop is mounted on the lower control arm, that's going to get more clearance as you crank. The droop stop is what the upper control arm will hit. That gets closer to the upper control arm as you crank the torsion bars.
