88 K2500 shifting issues?
Hi! New to this site, and admittedly new to the GMT 400 platform. I was gifted years back a 1988 K2500, 350, 700R4, I believe the transfer case is an NP241C. Anyways, I just started dailying the thing a week or so ago. In that weeks time, it has developed a strange issue to which I'm unsure of...- shadyy

Truck stuck in neutral after 4x4 is engaged (97 1500 5.7l)
I have the electronic push button 4x4. Any time I press the button to engage 4wd the transfer case goes into neutral and stays there, leaving me stranded. If you try and change gears it makes grinding sound. Usually, I stand around and reset the battery a few times (truck wont start in neutral)...- Clay Smith
