    Passenger Floorboard is always damp

    I knew I could count on thd forum for ideas... After a hard rain, I get some water on the passenger floor. Starting up the blower fan, it sounds like a boat prop until the water clears in a few seconds. Going to 'investigate' this tommorrow. Thanks for sharing the info!

    Can't access spare tire on 98 k1500 long bed.

    If this is actually the case, take 1" ratchet strap/ nylon webbing, and guide it over the top of the tube. Pull downward on web strap/tube as somebody guides the factory tire tool through the bumper.

    98 Yukon Pass Rear Shock Mount

    Did you get this finished?? I'm here looking, as we are in the same boat. The rear shock mounting plates in my '97 K1500 need to be replaced. This YT Vid goes through the process. My mechanic said the quality of the parts varies, so choose wisely.

    Great! My son said urethane is preferred over silicone for windshields, but all the urethane sealants I an seeing are thick, toothpaste consistency. Definitely will not flow much into the small voids. Will get the flow able silicone. Thanks!

    My 'new to me' 97 Siera has a leak as well, suspecting the windshield. The headliner near the glass is damp, about 12 inches wide on drivers side. Windshield looks new/replaced, so guessing I'm going to be resealing this myself as well. What product did you use to seal yours up?

    Scored a 2005 Yukon Denali Rims/tire combo off CL for $500. Being a lazy ass, $30 to pop them on. Practically new Khumo 265-75-17s The center caps need attention. I don't think paint will look right. Does anyone on the forum hydrodip??

    Ahhh great idea... Will be going this route myself. In my CJ7, to tame the Rancho suspension, I kept a huge steel roller die from a 16" printing press behind the rear seat. Weighed just over 100 lbs. I think they make water pillows now as well for this purpose too.
