Advantage? It was free and bolted right in, including springs lol also used D60 diff cover and I had one of those too. Disadvantage? Parts aren't as common, sometimes more pricey. But they make a disc kit for these too.

Finally got some time to swap out the Waggy hubs for some selectable ones. This is what I found... Not good. Full of water and rust. Cleaned em all up, pulled the spindle and all and regreased everything. All new snap rings too.

This weekend. Picking up the front driveshaft and got some cutting discs and blades to do so. Just haven't had the time. And nah, I'm just putting in the OEM floor shifter out of a 92 K1500. Same truck that I pulled the 241 from.

Just some small updates! 241 manual shift drivers drop case picked up. With rebuild kit and super long flange yoke, as well as a super nice K20 front shaft to match. That should be swapped in this week, then need to find the floor shift linkage and cut the floor out.

Post YOUR Favorite Picture of YOUR Truck!!!

Not 100% sure if I've put this one up yet... Deep cleaning the truck before winter hits. Taking out all the stuff that will freeze and swapping in the snow gear.

No sir. My truck can fully compress suspension and still clear at full lock. Was built exactly for this setup.

What?! Updates for the truck?! Minor in nature, but yes, UPDATES. Been on the hunt for a 241 Floor shift case to swap, so I could use flanged shafts, allowing better driveline angles, and eliminating the need for a 600$ custom front shaft to be made. Not as easy a task as I thought...

Its a 1979 F250 High Pinion Dana 44, with Jeep knuckles and Chevy V2500 outers. Still a 243c push button case, will be swapped soon for the 241 manual case so I can build a front shaft.
