    Do y'all think the brand of motor oil really matters?

    Ive ran rotelle 15w40 and a k&n filter in mine since ive owned it. Burns a qrt in between 3k oil changes, i only use it for the zinc additives. Prob switch to rotella 10w30 as soon as the temp drops to help with cold starts. My backup oil is always valvoline.. just because its high quality...

    Update.. I finally got around to pulling my cluster out and now im stuck again. There isnt anything for me to connect the wire thing to in the cluster so it will move the needle. Am i missing a piece or what? Sent From My Galaxy S3

    Not to sure. Ive got the moonie gauges in my gmc, so no tach. I need to get an aftermarket one and install it but im not sure the proper steps to go about it. I used a computer thing and it said i should be at 2k @ 70mph in OD. So roughly 2300-2500 in 3rd? Wouldnt that stress my motor running...
