    Which chip did they have on yours? Mine has a hurricane chip that in cab has a little black box that has an on and off switch with a turn dial. It attaches to the ambient air sensor on the intake tube. I'm hoping this thing is what is giving me headaches.

    The amount of residue on your radiator is alarming for sure Is that rust? The stuff on your radiator cap looks like oil. I hope you don't have a bad head gasket. The stuff on your intake is probably coming from your intake gasket.

    You can see in the photos where the gasket failed. The failure of those gaskets cause internal vacuum leaks that you won't see with a smoke test.

    I'm really leaning towards it being your intake manifold gasket. I chased all this5 numerous times before doing the intake gasket since it had been done ten years prior. See what that shop wants to do it while they have it in there again. Go with the felpro or mahle metal gasket upgrade.

    That's exactly what mine was doing. It's caused by an internal vacuum leak. I'm not a gambling man but I would put money on it that it's your lower intake gasket. I chased this on mine for 3 years
