Rear disc conversion kit

Has anyone tried the "Wilwood Disc Brakes 140-10094-R" rear conversion kit? Summit Racing tells me this will fit our 97' Silverado. I would love to do away with those rear brake shoes if it does. :) https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wil-140-10094-r

Advice: Diagnosis tool with cam retard?

Hello everyone! I am putting our 97' Silverado back together, replacing the lifters and intake gasket for now. I had to pull the distributor and cycle the engine a good bit to adjust the lifters. Now I can get the distributor in ok, but I need to set the cam retard, and will need a scanner...

Water running down back of engine block, drivers side.
