Got them mounted and wired up. Surprisingly they all work as they should. Thinking about installing a relay to make them all all come on with hi beams.- mconner533

Looking on the ol craigslist the other day I stumbled on a truck getting parted out. Didn't have door panels but did have the quad light setup. Picked these up for 200 with the grill,parking lights and the complete light wiring harness. I don't it was that bad of a deal as just the 1 side...- mconner533

Rear brakes finally done. cleaned drums, hardware ,wheel climbers and rear brake lines replaced. Only 7 cans of brake clean used to get everything cleaned up. Now it looks anorexic with the c&c axle with just 1 wheel on. but no reason to getnit all dressed up just to tear it apart soon.- mconner533

while pressure washing, more of the yellow decide to come out to play. Seat turned a much lighter shad of brown with a little high pressure persuasion also.- mconner533

Not much Has been hhappening lately with truck progress. Family and work have consumed much of my time. Just a little cleaning and s rubbing. But I did make time last night to pull rear wheels and drums to check the breaks. Good thing I did. I don't think it's supposed to be that...- mconner533

When I drained the old oil out I had to heat the oil pan to get it to drain out. Thick like molasses.- mconner533

No 4 exhaust push rod was stuck holding the valve open. Couple quick taps and freed it up. That was causing a heck of a miss. Now to clean it up a bit and check drivers side.- mconner533

Yes those are giant head gaskets. Sbc and flathead ford. Im.sure with enough pressure washing the white will.fall.off and the yellow will show back up.- mconner533

As afr as stretching the wheelbase, it looks like I could go 12" and leave the frame alone. Slide the spring mounts back, reattach and build new shock mounts. . Lengthened drive shaft and ebrake cable. . Brake line looks as though I could rotate the tee 180° and reconnect.- mconner533

1 cab corner replaced. Will have to wait till it warms up to body finish it though. surprisingly fornthe rough life this truck has had. Corners were the only rot. . Well except for the interior, and it's all TRASHED! Needs everything , dash, door panels,seat padding and cover and a/c...- mconner533

Recent activities include pulling the bed Then pulling the tank to clean it out. Tank was full of crap. Guess a new tank is in order. With some info from @someotherguy. I figured what tank I needed C&Cs have different Fram dimensions and tanks to accommodate the narrow frame. Attempted...- mconner533

Thanks. I was noticing the bed mounts not there. That should have been my first clue. Did not know about the wheelbase length issue though. Contemplating stretching it anyway. That's just another reason to do it.- mconner533
