Thanx for reply. That's probably what I will do. So glad 60es are so cheap. Then take it right to the trans shop.

Couple questions 1995 c1500.

Planning on new transmission and a rear posi traction carrier. My questions are.......do I need a 95 4l60 or will any work? I'm sure there is some differences and I would like to do as less modifications as possible. Also how tell my rear axle splines?
