99 suburban 2500 454 need tube between valve cover and throttle body
Like the title says.. got a 99 suburban 2500 with the vortec 454, there is a tube between the passenger side valve cover and throttle body and for the life of me I cannot find any info on it It's just missing.. ive seen them on videos but no one says anything about it and searching just...- Tractor joe

U joint size 89 c2500 14 bolt to 2003 suburban driveshaft
So I've got my 5.3 4l60e swap done in my 89 c2500 light duty 6 lug, with a 14 bolt rear end.. The suburban driveshaft and u joint works but the u joint caps to the 14 bolt are a tad to small maybe 1/8 of play between the u joint cap and 14 bolt yolk.. So I found I need a Spicer 5-460x online...- Tractor joe

89 c2500 light duty 5.3 4l60 swap is done.. kind of
Took me about 7 months.. did all the work myself.. first time messing with a computer controlled engine.. im a carb and diesel guy, tractor and heavy equipment mechanic. 2003 suburban engine and trans with around 240k miles I paid 650 for the 89, sold the 4.3 and 5 speed manual for 350, and...- Tractor joe

Found rust on my supposed rust free 89 sierra
Old owner said no rust.. the floor underneath looks mint.. I noticed some very slight bubbles on the cab corner on the passenger side and poked it with a flathead.. went right through! About a quarter size.. metal inside looks really good though.. Driver side.. ha... lots of bondo! Gurr...- Tractor joe
