94 GMC K1500. Planned 5.3 swap.

First, sorry if this has been covered, I did try to search. Was planning on 5.3 swapping it a couple years ago but after driving my daughters 5.3 silverado which is optioned nearly identicle to my 94 I really wasnt as impressed as I thought I would be but my 94s 5.7 flexplate recently cracked so...

Mild 400 TBI in a 94 GMC K1500.

Well I was planning on doing a 5.3 swap in it but after driving a 2000 silverado the past week not sure I see many benefits for the cost involved. I have a rebuildable 400 in my storage so am starting to think it would be the way to go. It will be a very mild build and probably use the TBI...
