Replaced crank sensor and coil with AC Delco. Relocated coil and ICM and rewired everything from VCM to the ICM and Coil. I would think I’d lose power to everything though right? A dumb question for the general public… with the key off, should the 12v power wire to coil show continuity to ground? I’m not an electrician by any means so… happy Tuesday- THase89

What I am struggling to understand with the ignition switch is how does it tie into the coil not firing? Looking at the wiring diagram, the signal is generated from the ICM which I am getting. Both the ICM and Coil are getting 12v power and the ICM is also getting signal from the VCM. Where does...- THase89

P0336 code popped up. Truck has had crank sensor replaced during all of this. Just ohmed out the signal wires to the VCM and both come back good. Odds of a bad new sensor? Any place I can find an OEM sensor as the one I took out is different color / design that one I put in but is correct p/n...- THase89

Truck is getting gas. Surprisingly not rusty. I’ve checked all ground connections as well to rule them out. Coil was replaced but both old and new tested ok. Only thing I’ve not checked wiring wise is crank sensor to PCM but with the scanner showing RPM, I assume that means it’s getting...- THase89

Distributor and rotor has so much corrosion I don’t know how it ran before. Replaced both, new ICM since I had the intake off and it fired right up! thanks everyone!- THase89

It turns over nice and smooth. But absolutely zero indication of spark and gas coming together and kicking off. Of course the distributor is in the most convenient place ever lol. I’ll pull the cap tomorrow and look at it.- THase89
