4l60e Still Not Right After Rebuild - HELP PLEASE!!

I'm not sure if this applies to a 98 model year truck or not, but I had similar troubles with my 96 when I had the trans rebuilt, actually when shifting into 3rd one day from 4th it gave out entirely. Turns out theres a service bulletin for my year truck (again, not sure it applies to a 98) but...

Nbs bumper 14+ on OBS

I'll take better pics soon, it needs some fine tuning, sticks out around the sides just a little bit but sits pretty well to the bed, turns out the tailgate rests on it so it needs to be moved down, and the top edge of the pad will have to be trimmed as well to clear the tailgate while it opens

Nbs bumper 14+ on OBS

Found this thread and wanted to revive it, love how this conversion turned out on my own truck and thought everyone should know it's actually a relatively easy one to do. The brackets on the 14 bumper are about an inch and a half wider than the original on both sides, but the holes line right...
