    hid offroad lights

Yea, HID offroad lights are not a good idea when there's oncoming traffic. The before and after beam on my lights was nearly identical. The only difference I could spot was a small dead spot from where the wire runs to the front of the bulb on the HID blocking the light but it's a non issue really.

    hid offroad lights

I went with a 55w ddm kit, you have to drill another hole in the housing for the extra wires, and the old clip that holds the bulb in won't work with the bigger hid's. believe it or not I actually zip tied them on and they have held like that for over a year now.

    hid offroad lights

just keep in mind that if you want to later on you could always convert standard halogens to HID's. That's what I did and it's amazing, 8" pro comp spot lights with 55w HIDs will throw one hell of a lot of light.

Yea I don't really care, as long as you guys don't get upset if I show up in something a little bit Australian if it's in Lincoln. Road trips in the obs aren't near as appealing when there's a gto sitting next to it.

    Might as well say hi...

Thanks guys, now that I've got the gto I can beat on this thing without caring as much about it running the next day. The last offroad/hunting trip I ended up with a broken cv and front driveshaft, but it's all in good fun. This summer I'm hoping to rebuild the 60e with the help of a neighbor...

    Might as well say hi...

yea, I usually throw it in there during the summer for special occasions. This summer were going to do it up right with seat belts and an old tv and nintendo 64 running off my power inverter.

    Might as well say hi...

some of you may already know me from fsc, but for those who don't, here's my obs and in case anyone is wondering, yes, it will fit in a cart corral and you can't drive it though 2 feet deep mush while its raining, no matter how fast you're going when you hit it. "laying frame" and who...

    My setup

do you forsee any issues using a regular hard drive in a vehicle? I've always been curious if you can use a regular hard drive in an automotive environment or if solid state is the only way to go.

    NNBS

The nnbs bumper wraps around quite a bit, I'm not sure how well that would line up on an obs.
