    Thanks for the insite, after crawling around underneath with a light and a few beers you can see the nuts/bolts through the gap between lower control arm and frame. after cutting the first one off I realized this. need a couple long extensions and a swivel on a 15 or 9/16 if I remember right

    Figured it out. pick the tires up and take a light from the bottom there's a gap between frame and lower control arm. you can see all 3 bolts. I didn't realize it until I cut the one side off.

    LT1 , Stock bottom end, stock heads, 846/crane 109831 cam w/matching springs, comp ultra pro mags 1.6rrs, gm carb intake, msd hei and 8.5super conducters, edelbrock 750 quad, hooker long tubes,th350 with summit nitrous converter 3000stall. 4200lbs ish 88 c1500

    1988 c1500 350 Motor/Trans out, what is the best way to get to nuts inside the frame?? Some say cut the old ones off but where does the rest of it go? just left to rot inside channel? Others say remove lower control arm, what does the book say?
