How Much Can YOU Haul IN 1/2 Ton???

Stock suspension and stock brakes. Trailer brakes on both axles. I'm sure it was unsafe but the truck hauled it fine. I moved my stuff with it. It did have new tires both on the truck and trailer though.

Opinions needed: Mod the 350tbi? or upgrade to 454?

I swapped a 454 into my 92 1/2 ton 4x4. I lived in Arizona so it needed to pass emissions. The truck is a reliable daily driver and as awesome power but for all the little things you need to deal with I would look for a truck with a 454 from the factory. You can probably buy a used one for the...

How Much Can YOU Haul IN 1/2 Ton???

Hauled a 30 foot gooseneck from Phoenix to Indy with my 92 single cab 1/2 ton stepside. 4" lift, 35" mud tires and a transplanted TBI 454. Tipped the scales at 15,500 lbs according to the Joplin truck stop.
